Wisconsin, Cranberry country

Wisconsin grows about 65% of the US's cranberries and for much of my life, I've been around cranberries.  Needless to say... Life in the central plains area of Wisconsin is pretty much centered around cranberries.

Just North of my hometown, is a small village of about 500 people.  For nearly the last 50 years, Warrens, Wisconsin has hosted the world's largest Cranberry Festival.  Always held on the last weekend in September.  If you're in the area and enjoy the arts & crafts scene swing by and check it out.  Like any festival in the mid-west, you'll always find something good to eat too.

Wisconsin, my return...

No matter what time of year, the Capitol in Madison, Wisconsin is impressive.  It doesn't matter from what angle, season or time of day, the Capitol is impressive.  Fortunately, I get to admire it twice a day on my daily commute to and from work.
